SPECIALIZED PROGRAM · FOR PROFESSIONAL VOICE USERS

Your voice works hard. Let’s make sure it holds up.

Evidence-based voice coaching for speakers, singers, and anyone whose voice is part of their career or serious hobby.

Speakers. Singers. Teachers. Choir directors. Executives. Hobby singers who want to do justice to what they love. Community leaders, clergy, or anyone who finds themselves speaking frequently and wants their voice to keep up. If your voice matters — professionally or personally — this program is built on the clinical science of how the voice actually works, so you protect it, project it, and preserve it for the long run.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Voice Coaching is built for anyone whose voice matters to what they do or love — whether that’s a career, a calling, or a hobby.

You're in the right place if:

SLPs and music-based voice instructors approach the voice from different angles — and those angles are genuinely complementary. Where a vocal coach teaches you how to use the instrument, an SLP can explain the anatomy and physiology behind it. Many clients find that working with both deepens their understanding and accelerates their results. If you’re already working with a voice teacher, this program doesn’t replace that work — it supports it.

Voice Coaching is for healthy voice users. If you’re experiencing significant hoarseness, voice loss, pain, or other medical concerns, we may refer you first to an ENT or laryngologist before starting coaching — this is flagged during your evaluation.

HOW IT WORKS

Three subsystems. Six sessions. One voice that works the way you need it to.

The voice is built on three systems: breath (the power source), the vocal folds (the vibrating source), and the resonating tract (where the sound gets shaped, colored, and carried). The program teaches each one in sequence, with daily home practice throughout and a built-in midpoint check-in to make sure the pace is right for you.

Pricing is provided during your free consultation. Virtual sessions are available anywhere in the US and Canada.

ABOUT YOUR COACH

I love working with the voice.

The science behind it is rigorous, results tend to come relatively quickly, and the impact on someone’s confidence and performance is real. I also love working alongside music directors and vocal coaches — we approach the voice from different angles, and those angles are genuinely complementary. Where a vocal coach teaches you how to use the instrument, I can explain the anatomy behind it. Many clients find that working with both deepens their understanding and accelerates their results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this speech therapy or voice coaching?

Voice Coaching is a private-pay program — not billed to insurance. It’s designed for healthy voice users who want structured, evidence-based coaching, not for people with a medical voice disorder. If your evaluation suggests a medical issue, we’ll refer you to the right provider first.

Not at all. If your voice matters to what you do or love — whether that’s performing, leading meetings, teaching a class, or singing in your community choir — this program is built for you.

The full program is available via virtual sessions from anywhere in the US and Canada. That said, we recommend in-person for the first and last sessions when possible — the evaluation measures and final baseline comparison are most accurate in person, since audio technology can affect perceived pitch and loudness. Fully virtual is absolutely possible; the changes you experience will still be real and consistent, we just note that some measurements may be less precise. We’ll discuss what makes sense for your situation at your free consultation.

About 5 to 10 minutes per day. The home practice protocol is built into the program from session one and updated as you progress — it’s the difference between a program that sticks and one that doesn’t.

Additional individual sessions are available. We’ll discuss this at the session three midpoint check-in if the pace suggests it, and again at the final session if there’s more ground to cover.

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk through your goals and confirm this is the right starting point — or point you somewhere else if it isn’t.
